World Holyname Week @ ISKCON,Ludhiana.India
Devotees of Sri Sri Jagannath temple, run by
ISKCON,Ludhiana arranged Harinaam Sankirtan on road during the auspicious
occasion of World Holy Name Week which started from Kipps Market,Sarabha
Nagar and end in the temple covering five kilometers distance. A beautiful
cart was decorated with the presiding deities Sri Sri Jagannath,Baldeva and
Subhadra devi. About five hundred people participated in the festival. On
the both side of the road people have glimpse of Their Lordship and welcome
with flowers and offered sweets and fruits.The kirtan was being led by HG
Narottam Das prabhu and HG Upender das prabhu. HG Rajasuya Das, Temple
President, emphasized need of Chanting Holy name in the age of Kali. All the
leading Print and Electronic media cover this festival.
